Let us help and support our brother "Dickoy" and his cause, The Philippine Society of Orphan Diseases (PSOD), by joining and submitting entries to the Project Rare Photo Contest sponsored by Imation Phils. (thru the efforts of Mylene Ferrer).
Calling all photographers and enthusiasts! ...and I know there are alot of you.... amateur or pro, please let us all contribute to this great endeavor of raising funds and awareness for Dickoy's 'rare' condition and others like him, mostly children and have little or no funds to treat their affliction.
Please see details below for the mechanics or visit http://www.imation-southasia.com/ProjectRare.html
Its as easy as either taking photos of what you consider 'rare' nowadays, or going thru your past photos and submitting them in an 8R print and in any Imation data storage. You may request an Imation CDR from me or Mylene. She also suggested that 'rare' can be depicting our faith which is not very common these days.
But you must HURRY! Deadline of submission for all entries is on Oct. 31, next Friday. You may submit your entries to the Imation office on or before Oct. 31 or you may give them directly to Mylene Ferrer (0918-9453778)
Exciting prizes will be given to the winners such as Imation Apollo External Hard Drive, TDK CD HiFi System, Speakers, Earphones, Flash Drives and more!
Exhibit will be in SM Malls - Marikina, Megamall, Southmall and Awarding will be at the SM Mall of Asia on Dec. 3. One of the judges for the contest is Carmina Villaruel who is a staunch supporter of PSOD. Dickoy will also give a talk during the awarding ceremonies. Let's all attend that as well.
Hope we can count on you to support this 'rare' opportunity to help those in need. Please pass to all your friends and relatives. This contest is open to all!
God bless,
Gia Garcia
